We may update and change our site from time to time to reflect changes to our content and services, our users’ needs, and our business priorities.

We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.

Third-party platforms we use (Teachworks, Zoom, Google Meet and others)
To deliver our education services securely, we may use third-party platforms, including:
- Teachworks (for backend administration, user accounts, student/parent/teacher allocation, scheduling, and account access);
- Zoom, Google Meet, and/or other education portals (for live lessons, online classrooms, recordings, and communications).
When you use these third-party services, their own terms and privacy notices may also apply. We are not responsible for those third-party platforms, but we take steps to select reputable providers and use them in a secure way.
You must keep your account details safe
If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or other information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
We have the right to disable any user identification code or password at any time if, in our reasonable opinion, you have failed to comply with these terms.
If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your login details, you must promptly notify us at info@britskill.co.uk.
How you may use material on our site
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site and in the material published on it. These works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All rights are reserved.
You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal use, and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content posted on our site.
You must not:
- modify paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded;
- use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio separately from accompanying text;
- remove author attribution where applicable.
You must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence from us or our licensors.
If you print off, copy, download, share or repost any part of our site in breach of these terms, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies you have made.
No text or data mining, or web scraping
You must not conduct, facilitate, authorise or permit any text or data mining or web scraping in relation to our site or any services provided via, or in relation to, our site for any purpose, including the development, training, fine-tuning or validation of AI systems or models.
This includes using (or permitting, authorising or attempting the use of):
- any “robot”, “bot”, “spider”, “scraper” or other automated device, program, tool, algorithm, code, process or methodology to access, obtain, copy, monitor or republish any portion of our site;
- any automated analytical technique aimed at analysing text and data in digital form to generate information (including patterns, trends and correlations).
We do not consent to our site (or any data accessible via our site) being used for developing, training, fine-tuning or validating any AI system or model.
This clause will not apply only to the extent we are unable to exclude or limit such activity by contract under applicable laws.
Rules about linking to our site
You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.
You must not:
- suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement by us where none exists;
- link to our site from any website not owned by you;
- frame our site on any other site;
- create a link to any part of our site other than the home page (unless we agree otherwise).

Uploading content to our site
Whenever you use a feature that allows you to upload or share content to our site, or to make contact with other users (including via Teachworks or any integrated portals), you must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy below.
You warrant that any contribution complies with those standards and you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty.
We consider content you upload to be non-confidential and non-proprietary. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a limited licence to use it as set out below.
We also have the right to disclose your identity to anyone who claims that content posted or uploaded by you violates their rights (including intellectual property or privacy rights).
We have the right to remove any content if, in our opinion, it does not comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.

Rights you are giving us to use material you upload
When you upload or post content to our site or learning platforms (including homework/coursework submissions, messages, files, and feedback), you grant us:
- a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, copy, reproduce and display that content only as necessary to provide and improve our educational services (for example: marking homework, giving feedback, troubleshooting, safeguarding, quality assurance); and
- where recordings are enabled (for example, live class recordings), permission to store recordings for educational delivery, quality assurance, dispute handling and safeguarding, in line with our Privacy Notice.
We do not sell your uploaded learning content.
User-generated content is not approved by us
Our site or portals may include information and materials uploaded by users. This content has not been verified or approved by us. The views expressed by other users do not represent our views or values.
Do not rely on information on this site
The content on our site is provided for general information only. It is not intended as professional advice. You should obtain professional or specialist advice before taking or refraining from any action based on the content on our site.
Although we make reasonable efforts to update information, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees that content is accurate, complete or up to date.
